On the day of my LASIK surgery, my husband drove me to Hoopes Vision for a life-changing experience. I arrived early to check in and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member who helped me get ready for surgery

As my husband sat patiently waiting for my surgery to begin, he had endless freshly baked, warm chocolate chip cookies sitting in front of him… Needless to say, he was happy to come with me to any of my follow up appointments!

I was taken back to surgery, where Dr. Hoopes, Sr. performed a very quick and non-painful procedure. Before I knew it, I was walking back out to my husband. He was shocked that within minutes my vision had been completely changed.

We walked to a room where another doctor could check everything out and give me post-op instructions. As we waited, I looked out the window and I could see the billboard across the street! YES! I COULD SEE! I could not believe it! Since I was 10 years old, I had not been able to see the television, leaves on a tree, or the chalkboard without glasses or contacts. Now, after just a few minutes with Dr. Hoopes, I could see everything.

My LASIK surgery was two years ago and I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for the change it made in my life! My eyes don’t burn every morning from putting contacts in, I don’t have to worry about anything when I go boating, and I never have to squint because I can’t see something far away. I’m so thankful for the doctors at Hoopes Vision, as well as their amazing staff. Thank you so much for changing my life!
